| Resumo: | Internacional Webinar Unifesp Edgar Allan Poe left Liverpool in the middle of June 1820 to sail back to America after spending five years in London. When he arrived in Liverpool five years earlier, Wellington had just defeated Napoleon at Waterloo. John Allan spent those five years trying to revive his business without great success. During that time, young Poe saw the sights of London, Edinburgh, and rural Britain. Those are some of the topics addressed during the webinar. |
